Not so long ago I wrote an article about desperation and inspiration, and I talked about the importance of being in an abundant mindset, working from a place of improvement rather than scarcity. However, my recent situation made me reevaluate this, as I have reached levels of true despair, depths I did not think to exist. The irony was that this darkness of peril gave me strength and focus like never before, the kind that I would have never achieved in times of peace and abundance. I found purpose and had answers to things I did not think of. And it made me think back to the times when I was truly and deeply heartbroken, a new me was reborn, like a Pheonix from the ashes. This is why I'm a firm believer that no good is bad and no bad is good. Because in times of the worst situations, you are motivated to become better, you break through a barrier and become even better than your previous best.
